BIOGRAPHY

Rahul Deo completed medical school at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University (as part of the Tri-Institutional MD/PhD Program) and then trained in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in Cardiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital.  He earned a doctorate in Molecular Biophysics from the Rockefeller University, and completed postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School in human genetics and computational biology. From 2011 to 2018, Rahul was an Assistant/Associate Professor within the Department of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and Principal Investigator at the UCSF Cardiovascular Institute.  Dr. Deo’s research has prioritized integrating experimental and computational approaches to address problems of heterogeneity in cardiovascular disease.
